MUSIC/PERFORMANCE Information
Sound, Equipment & Power
Mountain Artisans Market provides shared sound equipment for performances. To help us prepare & keep things running smoothly, we ask performers to let us know:
-
How many performers are in your group
-
What instruments you’ll be bringing
-
What equipment you’ll need (microphones, amps, DI, etc.)
This information helps us plan sound setup, performance transitions & overall flow for the day or evening. Performers are still responsible for bringing their own instruments & any personal accessories, but we’ll do our best to support your needs with the shared system.
Compensation & Support
Mountain Artisans Market is a non-profit, community-run event built entirely through volunteer effort. Rather than a traditional performance fee, we support performers through visibility, promotion & space.
Each performer or group will receive:
-
A table space to sell merchandise such as posters, CDs, vinyl, or tickets to upcoming performances
-
Promotion on the Mountain Artisans Market website
-
Promotion across our social media platforms
Our goal is to help you connect with the community & share your work with people who may not have discovered it otherwise.
Community Expectations
Mountain Artisans Market is a shared, non-profit, community-run space.
Performers are expected to be welcoming, respectful & inclusive, to support one another & to contribute positively to the overall market environment. This includes helping someone new feel comfortable, being mindful of shared space & offering a helping hand when possible.
All participants must avoid hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory behavior, respect Fresno Flats as a historic site, treat the space with care & clean up their area before leaving.
