Foothills Under 30 is a podcast series created by Yosemite Foothills, in partnership with The Mariposa Gazette, that celebrates 30 outstanding individuals under the age of 30 making an impact in Eastern Madera and Mariposa Counties. Each episode features one young changemaker, highlighting their work, passion, and story in a one-hour recorded conversation. The goal? To uplift local talent, build community pride, and share inspiring stories with the world.

Things to know if nominated

If you're selected as one of the 30 Under 30, here’s what to expect:

Podcast Interview: You’ll be invited for a one-hour recorded interview featured on major platforms like Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube.
Mariposa Gazette Article: Your story will also be highlighted in a printed article, distributed across Eastern Madera and Mariposa Counties.
Media Use: Your photo, video, and audio may be used for promotional content across Yosemite Foothills, Foothills Under 30, and Gazette platforms (social media, websites, etc.).
Minors Welcome: If you’re under 18, you can still participate—with a parent or guardian’s permission and presence during recordings.
Comfort Comes First: If you're not comfortable being on the podcast, you can still be recognized online feature as an honorary mention.
We’ll Reach Out: Once nominated, you’ll get an email to confirm your participation and schedule next steps.
